Campeonato Brasileiro de Match Race Feminino - Final
The Campeonato Brasileiro de Match Race Feminino (Brazilian National’s Match Race Women Championship) was held in Elliott 6ms in Floriapolis, Brazil. The event consisted of 2 days of races, one round robin, petit finals and best of three in finals at the Iate Clube Santa Catarina, in Florianopolis (state of Santa Catarina).
% crews competed - 4 Brazilian teams and one from Argentina.

The first day there were strong winds and the races had to be suspended half way through the Round Robin. The next day there were weak winds which shifted a lot so the conditions were quite complicated.
Renata Decnop from Niteroi and crew, Gabriela Sá, also from Niteroi, and Larissa Juk, from Iate Clube Santa Catarina, won. Renata is candidate for the Brazilian Olympic team. Juliana Senfft (also from Niteroi) with crew Fernanda Decnop and Luciana Kopschitz were second. Third were the Argentineans Martina Silva with crew Ana Lucia Silva and Trindad Silva.

The event was organizes by Brasil 1 and Iate Clube de Santa Catarina. Sponsors were Volvo and Takeda Nycomed.
