It is time to nominate and elect the 2012/13 Governing Council and Officers of the Womens International Match Racing Association. The nomination period is now open and the elections will occur either at the WIMRA Annual Meeting will be held at the 2012 ISAF Womens Match Racing World Championship in Goteborg, Sweden on 27 June 2012 or on-line prior to that meeting.
You must be a current (paid) member of WIMRA to participate in the election (either nominating or voting).

We are now accepting nominations for positions in the 2012/13 WIMRA Governing Council. The Governing Council is composed of representatives from each ISAF Region, with the exception of Europe which has two representatives (one representing the Scandinavian countries and one representing the rest of the region).
The Governing Council of WIMRA is defined below:
Members of the Governing Council will be responsible for the management and direction of WIMRA and encouraging and promoting amateur womens match racing within their respective regions. Requirements to be a Representative of the Governing Council is to be a current member of WIMRA and a current competitor of womens match racing (having competed in the current two-year period).

. Representative from Europe (non-Scandinavia) Region
. Representative from North America & The Caribbean Region
