As the ISAF Match Race Rankings roll into 2013, Ian Williams (GBR) and Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) maintain their status as World #1 match racers in the Open and Women’s divisions.

Women’s Rankings

There were no graded women’s match racing regattas in this month meaning there are very few changes in the month’s rankings.

Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) continues to top the rankings after an exceptional 24-month period on the women’s match racing scene. Ekaterina Skudina (RUS) moves up two places to World #5 whilst Silvia Roca (ESP) creeps into the top ten for the first time.

A busy period of women’s match racing is on the horizon and with the next ranking release date on 17 April 2013 changes will happen. Sailors will have the pick of Marinassess Women’s Match Racing Regatta, CYCA International Women’s Match Racing Regatta and the New Zealand Women’s Match Racing Championship.

The pick of South America’s finest female match racing talent will gather at the ISAF Nations Cup South American Regional Final and as an ISAF Grade 2 regatta it’ll be all to play for in Mar de Plata, Argentina from 27-31 March.
