The Sailing Community Remembers Pat Seidenspinner (USA)
The sailing community, and especially the women’s match racing community, has lost a dear friend - Pat Seidenspinner (St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Florida) died last week after a long series of illnesses.

More than "just" a race officer, Pat was the heart and soul behind the Rolex Osprey Cup which ran for many years as one of the premier events on the women’s match racing circuit from 1995 through 2010. She also organized and ran the 2000 ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship.

Pat also championed the cause of women’s match racing and was instrumental in the growth of the sport both in the US and internationally.

We will miss you, Pat!
