After completion of the second round robin today in a shifty 8-14 knots, the four semi-finalists were decided for the RYA National Ladies Match Racing Championships, held at the 2012 Olympic Sailing venue in WPNSA, Portland Harbour. There has been some close racing over the past 2 days, with a combination of some seasoned match racers, new faces, with two foreign teams making the trip over to the UK. Mary Rook and Josie Gibson were early leaders after the first day of racing with many teams sitting very tightly on similar points. In the second round robin on day two Lucy Macgregor and her team won all their matches, with some very tight matches to finish the two days at the top of the leaderboard followed by Mary Rook, Josie Gibson and Charlotte Lawrence who will battle it out on day 3.
