The Women’s International Match Racing Association (WIMRA) has been very active since it’s revitalization in 2007. We have been actively pursuing the goals of the organization: promoting women’s match racing world-wide and supporting the inclusion of women’s match racing in the Olympic Games. As the recent sailing headlines confirm, the second goal has been successfully achieved and we will be seeing women’s match racing in the 2012 Olympics. We have also been advancing with our first goal through teaching clinics in 12 countries with over 200 participants and helping regatta organizers with their events. These activities will be ongoing and we need your help!
