The 2009 Governor’s Cup starts tomorrow. Youth teams from around the world (AUS, BER, GBR, NZL, and USA) will be competing including an all-female team from NZL.

The Governor’s Cup is the oldest junior match racing championship in the world. The regatta is hosted by Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, CA and sailed in the Governor’s Cup 21 boats designed by Alan Andrews. Participants are all under 20 years old.
