Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta - Day One
Twenty-four teams from thirteen countries are competing in the Women’s Match Racing event at the Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta in Weymouth, GBR - the site of the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition.

Day one saw a beautiful day of racing in northeasterly breezes ranging from 12 to 18 knots under mostly bue skies.

The fleet was divided into three groups of eight teams for the first round robin. Each group sailed three of their seven flights today. The leaders after day one are the three undefeated teams: Claire Leroy (FRA), Silke Hahlbrock (GER), and Silje Lehtinen (FIN) - each with 3 wins in 3 matches.
