Day one of the Campionato Italiano Match Racing Femminile 2009 was sailed in sunny weather (22 degrees C) and 10 and 16 knots (with some gusts 18... or more) from South. 14 flights were sailed on day 1 of championship with all of the teams sailing between 5 and 7 matches. Lorenza Mariani and Cristiana Monina lead the way with undefeated records on the first day.
