The final of the Brazilian Championship of Match Race, which is being held at the Sailing South, was moved to this Monday due to lack of wind. Teams Juliana Mota and Renata Decnop, both of Rio de Janeiro, are the finalists in the women’s division. The decision of the title is a series of best of three races. Mota qualified to win by 2 to 1 Raquel Aimone in the semifinal on Saturday while Decnop eliminated Martha Rocha by 2 to 1 on Sunday morning. Rocha and Aimone vie for third place. In the first confrontation Aimone took the lead with 1 to 0.
