Women’s Match Racers must register online at www.trofeoprincesasofia.org prior to February 14, 2010.

The maximum number of teams that will be invited ("Event Quota") will be 24. In the event that more than 24 teams register prior to the February 14 deadline, the following rules (from the Notice of Race) will be used to determine allocation of spaces:

3.9. For any event in which the number of applications exceeds the Event Quota on midnight (local time), 14 February 2010, the following procedure will apply.
3.9.1. The MNAs of the applications received will be sorted in Priority Order, based on the order of each MNA’s highest appearance on the ISAF Sailing World Cup final series standings for 2009.
3.9.2. Ties in the Priority Order will be resolved in favor of the MNA with the higher appearance in the most recent SWC event(s) in which any tied MNA appears. Remaining ties will be broken in favor of the MNA whose entry application was received first.
3.9.3. Entries will be accepted, as follows, until the quota is filled:
3.9.3.1. One place awarded to the host MNA.
3.9.3.2. One place, awarded in MNA Priority Order, for each MNA with a remaining entry application.
3.9.3.3 Repeat 3.9.3.2 above until the quota is filled.

3.10 For any event in which NOR 3.9 applies and one or more MNA’s have qualified entries
remaining but have not met their MNA Quota, the Event Quota will be increased accordingly.
NOR 3.9.3(c) will be reapplied until the each MNA with remaining entries has met the MNA
Quota. If entries still remain, the MNA will decide which entries fill the available slots.
