The next event in the 2010 ISAF World Sailing Cup (SWC) has competitors banging on the doors for the 24 available spots. The popularity of the newest Olympic sailing event, womens match racing, continues to build as 38 entries from 17 nations were received before the 14 February deadline.
The 24 spaces will now be awarded with each nation receiving one entry along with the host nation, Spain, receiving an additional entry. The remaining six entries will be given out in order to the highest placing nations from last years SWC final standings who requested additional entries (GBR, NED, USA, AUS, FRA, and RUS).
