Open National Championship Frapa Women Match Race - Day Three
Second Open Croatian Championship in Women’s Match Race
Yacht Club Frapa, Rogoznica, Croatia

Third day of competing has confirmed high quality of girls’ fight in racing area. SE continued today as well, even stronger than 20knots with gusts up to 28 knots. In such demanding conditions, Race Committee had lots of troubles anchoring their boat for signaling precise start line. For this reason, matches were delayed for over an hour.

In racing, Petra Kliba CRO confirmed leading position after the double Round Robin, so that while the races were going on, it was obvious that she would be entering semi-finals with other semi- finalists, Vesna Dekleva SLO, Zuzzana Gladysz POL, and Catarina Carvalho POR.

Unfortunately, our host crew with Tihana Tadinac did not succeed to win any of the four mentioned crews despite her leading position in matches with them.

Once both Round Robins were finished, Race Committee decided not to depend on tomorrow’s forcasted weather conditions, so that semifinal races continued despite hard conditions and late afternoon hours.

Results after Round Robins:

Petra Kliba (CRO) 9-3
Zuzzana Gladysz (POL) 9-3
Vesna Dekleva (SLO) 9-3
Ana Catarina Carvalho (POR) 8-4
Tihana Tadinac (CRO) 4-8
Ana Gojčeta (CRO) 2-10
Petra Zuber (CRO) 1-11
