Stage One (Opening Group Round Robins) has been completed at the 2010 Kieler Woche - ISAF Sailing World Cup. After two days of racing the next stages have been determined.

The top two from each group (Tunnicilffe - USA, Tulloch - USA, Lehtinen - FIN, Macgregor - GBR, Leroy - FRA, and Spithill - AUS) advance to the Gold Fleet and will sail a round robin to determine the seeding for the Quarter-Finals. The third and fourth from each group will advance to the Repechage (Bekatorou - GRE, Souter - AUS, Groeneveld - NED, Le Berre - FRA, Skudina - RUS, Hahlbrock - GER) where they will sail a very important round robin with an opportunity for the top two to advance to the Quarter-Finals.

The 5th and 6th in each group (Rook - GBR, Osborne - NZL, Meldgaard - DEN, Rahm - SWE, Prvan - CAN, Mulder - NED) will sail in a round robin to determine places 13-18 in the final results whereas the 7th and 8th (Roca - ESP, Mariani - ITA, Echegoyen - ESP, Wang - CHN, Tylinski - POL, Abrahamsen - DEN) in each group will sail in a round robin to determine places 19-24.
