2010 Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta - Entry Priority
The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) has published the Priority List for Entry into the 2010 Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta - 37 Entries were received from 22 countries for the 24 available spots. With the popularity of the Women’s MAtch Racing Event, the organizers must use the priority procedures voted on by the ISAF Council to determine who may compete: The host country (GBR) receives one invitation then each country receives one invitation each (22). Any remaining places are filled by giving another spot to each country, in order, based on the country’s highest place in the Sailing World Cup standings at this time (in order that is GBR, USA, FRA, AUS, GER, NED, etc.)
