At the end of Day Two of the US Sailing’s 2011 Rolex Miami OCR - the North American stop for the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Cup series - the pieces are falling into place for the next stages with the exception of Group A still having one flight to sail Wednesday.
After Group A finishes their remaining flight, the twenty four teams will be re-grouped into four groups for the next stages of the event. The top two in each group move on to the Gold Group (Stage 2) which will determine the seeding for the Quarter Finals later in the week. The next two teams in each group will move to the Repechage (Stage 3). The Repechage group will sail a round robin and the top two teams from this group will advance to join the Gold group in the Quarter Finals.
The remaining twelve teams will sail in the Silver and Bronze groups to determine their final placing in the event (places 13-24).
