The 2011 women’s match racing season is in full swing and it is not too late to sign up for some of the fantastic high level Grade 1 Women’s Match Racing events on the calendar later this year. These events will be raced in a diverse and exciting array of boats: Sonars, Elliott 6s, J/22s, Beneteau First Class 8s, Tom 28s, Bakewell-White 30s, and DS 37s - a boat for every sailor’s appetite! How better to showcase your match racing skills than winning in multiple classes? These events are being held on nearly every continent (with events in the USA, France, Spain, Sweden, Korea, and more) - no excuse not to show up! And some events even have lots of prize money! What more incentive do you need?

"Eastport Yacht Club announced today that the 2011 Notice of Race (NOR) has been posted and they are now accepting requests for invitations to compete in the 2011 Santa Maria Cup, a premier Women’s Match Racing event. This International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Grade 1 championship will be held in Annapolis, Maryland from September 27 – October 1." www.santamariacup.org

"Lysekil Women’s Match - Back on the sailing arena - After a year on hold, the Grade 1 match race Lysekil Women’s Match will again take place from 1 to 6 August in Lysekil, Sweden.
