Scandinavian events are the focus for women’s match racing events at the height of the Nordic summer with regattas in Finland and Sweden highlighting. Ten top teams will descend on the island of Marstrand (just north of Gothenburg) to compete in the Women’s Event at the Stena Match Cup Sweden ’11.

Defending Champion Ekaterina Skudina (RUS) will face a tough line up that includes the World #1 and current World Champion Lucy Macgregor - GBR, Olympic Gold Medalist Anna Tunnicliffe - USA, and two-time World Champion Claire Leroy - FRA. All of these teams are in the midst of campaigns to represent their countries in the 2012 Olympics in Great Britain.
